ahha, that's why i don't bother with names. i figured out kinda what was going on here.
long time ago i saw something on the other side of my ceiling when the lights turned off. nobody else could see it. not my first time , by far, of people not seeing what i saw… long story short, this was a full vivid painting of that faint first image…..yesterday morning.

they were making the thunder as a like initiation to see if I pass

It seems to me that it's trying to communicate with you. And if I may point out, the Thunderbird is a very powerful totem and is obviously attuned to the air element. Since you've mentioned your affinity with the air element, it wouldn't be surprising if this is the case. The Thunderbird is opposed to the water panther just so you know. But if you can communicate and align with it, you'd have a hell of an ally.

kensai, you were talking about kimoko or something like that couple months ago. just added couple things together that i forgot about.
this morning after i got back to my body i stayed zoned out and had some vivid remote viewing of those elementals. one was like flashing into lightning, another turned into a raincloud. there were dozens of them.
so do you think they were welcoming me in, trying to scare me out, or just exiting the area while i was there?

it was not a sonic boom, I've experienced those from the ground before. it was an ongoing rumble for at least 10 seconds.

a tribe of thunderbirds leaving the ground in a flock , i couldnt say that would sound dissimilar though.

In many Native American traditions a thunder clap like that is an omen of war. The thunder clap you heard could have been a low flying jet, or a Thunderbird. As these beings frequent the astral plane or shadow realms. Some research on the area and the indiginous tribes may be helpful.
