I prefer the classic Rider Waite. I have had my deck since 1994. I'm sure you can imagine the energy that has gone into my deck over the past 26 years. I've tried others as well. The Native American Tarot Deck, several animal decks. But the RW speaks to me the most.

Decks:
Robin Wood
Celtic Faerie
Tarot of the Divine
A.E Waite

Of the above, my favorites are the Robin Wood and Celtic Faerie decks. I mainly just like the energy, and feel a stronger flow and connection when using them. Illustrations for interpretation are a plus.

Personally, I just enjoy the various art work on each deck. Unfortunately, I can't utilize tarot in divination. The cards just don't respond well, which is an understatement.

Tarot of the Divine is the one that feels best for me at this moment. I bought the Rider-Waite deck first but felt no connection.

Tarot art is so varied. I love just to look at all the different styles and also to find more to admire, so thanks for the replies. I'm curious about which ones speak to people and which don't. My favorite is a well thumbed art nouveau deck, but the deck that I use more often is a motley collection with pieces from many other decks.
