Hi and howdy. Welcome to you.
Browse the Beginners section for info, take your time.
https://witches.chat/forum/index.php?page=forumview&id=beginners
There's a separate spell section.
Ask any Qs you want. The research tab at top/left is your friend 😀; there's a fabulous library

There's Wicca-as-Nature-religion (holiday rites, Lady 'n Lord, the Elements) and there's witchcraft as magical practice (energy and spells). And a lot more too 😳. I'd suggest trying a topic every 1-2 months. Start with what interests you. Write Q & A down as you go. Spend time in Nature and get acquainted with the genius loci spirit of the place where you are.

Hello and welcome. I would also go through the other Forums as you might find things that cause a spark and send you on a path. Find something that you’re curious about and pursue it, then move on to the next subject.
And if you are not familiar with it, learn to meditate and find time to do that every day. Then learn to focus on intentions and visualization. And don’t be afraid to ask for help. There are many here that are willing to offer advice or guidance on a myriad of topics. I wish you all the best as you begin your journey. Blessed be.

A good starter book to read is in the slabs library: “Wicca.pdf - a Guide for Solitary Practitioners” by Scott Cunningham, free PDF - tap research tab @ top left of screen, select Library, go to W
and scroll down to "Wicca.pdf"

Hi and welcome to the wonderful world of witches ^_^
I agree that the SLABS library is a great place to start but it can a tad daunting with so many books to choose from! Also I agree with Norwich that Guide For Solitary Practitioners is a very good and informative book for beginners. If you ever need any help or have any questions please feel free to message me and I will help you out. Have a wonderful day and happy learning 🖤🖤🖤

I agree that Scott Cunningham’s book is a great book and I recommend it often, I have found another book called The Wiccan Bible for the Solitary Witch and I would recommend this book to anyone just starting on the Wiccan path. It’s a very short read but I think it hits on all the relevant points without overloading the reader. I know when I first started I was buying and reading a large number of books, but after reading this one, I wish I had purchased it sooner.

Hi Mike. There are at least 5 books that have similar titles so do you know the author? Is the version you suggest by Didi Clark?
