First Tarot Reading

Help with interpretationHello and Greetings to those that read this post. I have just started working with Tarot cards. Originally I bought the Ryder-Waite deck as that seems to be the ones most start with. I had read somewhere that one of the ways to connect with the cards is to sleep with them under your pillow for a few days. I tried that but never quite felt a connection to the cards so I began looking at other sets and came across the Tarot of the Divine set and there was something about them that said "buy me", so I did. When they arrived and I opened the box I immediately got a tingling sensation in my hands and then chills. It was a really nice feeling. I put them under my pillow and they actually make me feel good when I see and touch them. I have had them for more than a week and I wanted to study up on the process more before I made an attempt at using them.
A little back story is my job has been a bit crazy lately but I am due for my review and a possible promotion. The problem is on Friday I had a disagreement with my bosses boss and of course he has input in both the review and the promotion. Tonight before going to bed I decided that maybe it was time to do a reading and I wrote down three questions and pulled the following cards for each:
Question 1 - Will I be offered the promotion? I turned the card over it was Five of Swords reversed.
Question 2 - Is this promotion in my best interest? I turned the card over it was Five of Wands upright.
Question 3 - What should I consider before accepting the job? I turned the card over it was Nine of Cups upright.
From what I can tell there is nothing to worrisome unless I am interpreting the cards wrong. The results of Question 2 does not surprise me because I know taking this position means I have to deal with some strong willed people. Am I reading that correctly?
Before putting the cards away I did a one card draw asking the following: Did my argument with my superior hurt my position with the company? I turned the card over and it was Ten of Coins upright.
So all in all I am feeling okay with this reading. Does anyone else see something that I should be concerned about?
Any guidance would be appreciated. Blessed be.
Q2° same amount of wands as swords so you have all your bases covered but this is only a stepping stone to the position you are really aiming for.
Q3° 9 of cups means your significant other only has 1 problem with it, you know what it is. But there is nothing besides that which is not in your best interest. If they can deal with it for the meantime, they know it'll lead to something better so go for it.
Q4 I'd say that after the argument, they understood that you were only trying to help the company
Since this was a month ago already,,, am I close?
I appreciate your input, as I said Tarot is new for me, I have done more readings and some have been fairly accurate, others have left me with questions.
So what that shoulda been is something like,,, you have plenty of supplies or the right stuff or enough power flowing in to keep up with all of it.
Your cups will start overflowing soon if you don't use what you're getting, so like use it or lose it time.
Convinced me to stop believing other people on how to read these things though so thx for that I'll trust myself like I shoulda
