Welp, I'm Malatesa, mal, Malatesa_, Malatesa__, Malatesa___ and on and on because I always ping out and my nickname gets changed, but you can call me Bruh. Or Bob. Or Betty. Or whatever. Just don't call me the names my ex-wife used to call me. :)
I'm a super-chill person, in person. At the grocery store, when I check-out, I search for the line that has someone interesting to talk to as we check-out. I usually look for someone that looks like they NEED to talk to someone. Those are My People.

Vivian_Maier.jpg  I love photography. My favorite photographer is Vivian Maier. Her work in beyond excellent, in my view. That's her picture right over there. In my own work, I cover events. My favorite camera is my Mamiya RZ67, but I shoot Nikon because people no longer understand film, let alone medium format film. I have a small studio and I really enjoy photographing people. I don't understand the new music, so I live in the past I suppose, musically. As either a condition or understanding of employment at any job I have ever had, I gained agreement that if Joni Mitchell was to pass away, I'd need to take a week off work. As far as authors, I'm a huge fan of Cheryl Strayed. When I post pictures of events or people that I've photographed on my Facebook, I always add one of Cheryl Strayed's quotes. If I was able to meet only one famous person, it would certainly be Cheryl Strayed.

Movies? I love chic flicks. Especially movies that have a really good message. Wild, The Yellow Handkerchief, Under the Tuscan Sun, Eat Pray Love, Letters to Juliet, and so on. I've watched them a million times and I never get tired of them.

When I'm not photographing people, I'm working on Witches Chat. I've met a lot of cool people here, and I'd like to see other people do the same, if they are able to give part of themselves away to others. I prefer to code in TCL, and I adore LISP. iOS not Android, Black coffee not some expensive concoction, and film over digital. If you've got ideas for the website or chat room, share them with me, us, the world.

I found out about Vivian awhile ago on her Netflix special

I photograph everything except people. I like the way film turns out in a redroom,  darkroom other people call it…

I'll make sure to not call you late for dinner either
