In the chat room we have a lot of fun, and sometimes silliness erupts and weird questions come up. Here's one such question. This is a "what would you do" sort of question. There's no right or wrong answer, of course, because usually the situation is too weird anyway. But if you want, give it a shot and tell us what you would do in this situation:

You're hitting all the thrift shops in town. The final thrift shop is the Catholic Church's thrift Store. All they sell is bibles and books on Catholicism. While looking through boxes and boxes of books related to being a good Catholic, you happen upon The Satanic Bible, and it's signed by Anton LeVey himself.

What do you do?

Any answers are okay and anyone can participate.

I'd buy it, and read even though I've already read it once before it wouldn't hurt to reread it again.

I would bring it to the attention of the Sellers. that I am impressed they were able to veiw the 'Bible' in all of its Traditional formats…
Would also enquire as to whether they had experienced other versiuons, and were they still being vetted..etc
If so could they consider me first before choosing to sell or destroy..
Then I would pay for it - and place it in with other Books in our Library..

I have a copy but if that one was signed I'd probably buy it for the signature. That puppy might actually be worth something one day.

I definitively would buy it.  If you knew how many times I found items for my altars in thrift stores and garage sales held by Catholic groups, you, LOL.
